Almost nothing from our servers. crcls is designed to work with your data stored locally on your device. Your contacts, relationship notes, cadence settings, and interaction history all live on your phone — not in a cloud database we own.
When you use AI-powered features like message suggestions, anonymised context is sent to process your request and is not stored or used for training.
No. We do not sell, share, or trade your personal information with any third party for advertising or commercial purposes. Full stop.
We may use essential infrastructure services (such as crash reporting) that receive minimal anonymised diagnostic data, but never your relationship content or contact information.
crcls requests access to your device's contacts solely to let you add people to your circles. Contact data is read locally and stored on-device — it is never uploaded to our servers.
You can revoke contact permissions at any time through your device settings, and can manually delete any person from crcls independently of your device contacts.
Reminders and nudges are generated on-device based on your cadence settings. We do not use a push notification service that reads your relationship data — notifications are triggered locally and you can disable them at any time.
Yes, completely and instantly. Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it entirely. You can also delete individual contacts, notes, or your full history from within the app at any time. There is no server-side copy to request removal of.
If we ever update this policy, we will notify you through the app and give you time to review the changes before they take effect. We will never retroactively change how your existing data is handled without your explicit consent.
